In this edition of the Alma Viajera Pop-Up series, the team is taking a look centuries back in time, to explore Costa Rican cuisine the way it was before the arrival of the first colonial powers in the Americas. This Prehispanic Dinner is an homage to the 7 native indigenous communities of Costa Rica, whose culture, cooking customs, and ingredients may have fallen out of the spotlight, but have never lost their flavor. The menu will feature fresh produce and meats that are native to Costa Rica, cooked the same way that they would have been 700 years ago for a taste of some of our country’s oldest history.
