JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to lead our Engineering department in providing high-quality maintenance and repair services to our properties. The Department Head will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability of our services while ensuring exceptional customer service and timely completion of projects. Strives to continually improve owners, renters, and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department. Ensures that standards and procedures are being followed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Work Activities:
-Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability of maintenance and repair services. Creates maintenance, and Pool Cleaning packages, participates on the cost determination and implementation process.
-Manage the daily operations of the Engineering department, including assigning tasks and supervising the work of maintenance staff. Plans his duties and acts accordingly.
-Develop and maintain relationships with property managers, owners, and tenants to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
-Conduct site visits and inspections to diagnose faults, identify repair needs, and provide cost estimates.
-Oversee the scheduling and execution of preventive and reactive maintenance, wood repairs, leak repairs, painting, air conditioning maintenance, minor repairs, and kitchen appliance repairs, amongst other responsibilities of the department.
-Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective action as needed to meet or exceed service level agreements. Compliance with SLA´s and MTTR on daily basis. Uses Power BI reports to base findings and improve performance.
-Manage the department's budget and expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability.
-Reviews Operating expenses and revenues on daily basis, and reports Finances the results for proper resolutions.
-Reviews final Profit and Losses Statements, prepares critique reports and makes improvements on areas underperforming.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
● Academic: Administration or engineering graduate, master is a plus.
● Work Experience: 5 years of experience in similar positions
● Language: English level 85%
● Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software, learns how to use Dynamics and utilizes it to perform reports and audits.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
