JOB SUMARY
Lodging Sales aims to increase lodging nights and F&B revenue sales in Meeting, Social, Conferences and Retreats market segment for the Las Catalinas Collection and the Santarena Hotel. The Group and Catering Sales manager will attract, nurture, and close group lodging sales and F&B sales via both growing key accounts and creating a portfolio of new accounts. The Group and Catering Sales Manager will be the first point of contact between corporations and Beach Town Travel’s partners through the entire sales process including upselling and managing all operational and administrative tasks required to execute group stays.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
● Learn and understand all the lodging options in town to be able to offer the right product and services to the right customer.
● Strong prospecting and negotiating skills in both English and Spanish including ability to seek out new potential accounts and creatively develop business to business relationships with companies aligned with the Core Values and Beliefs of Las Catalinas and the value proposition of partnered facilities.
● Generating new accounts and nurture key accounts to develop new group lodging and F&B business.
● Negotiate, close and operate new business contracts including entering room blocks and reservations, managing execution of banquets events order, and billing procedures for entire customer journey.
● Maintain 1 business day or less response time for all new enquiries in all Beach Town Travel communication channels.
● Ensure lead nurturing best practices are followed in HubSport (or other CRM).
● Be proactive and innovative by creating your own sales techniques and materials in order to accomplish the department's goal.
● Achieve annual budgeted goals for the group market segment
● Forecast and budget Prospect, Tentative, and Confirmed, business.
● Collaborate with the lodging sales and revenue teams to create and develop products for all group market segments.
● Day-of on-site management and liaison between group clients and facility hosts including supervision of third-party vendors, internal vendors in line with the rules and regulations of each facility.
● Support the organization and execution of Town Events, Demand Generating Events, and third-party events.
● Effectively communicate with all internal and external Beach Town Travel partners regarding any information that would potentially affect the guest experience using Opera and Hubspot.
● Create and follow Standard Operating Procedures for the effective operation of events for the entire customer journey including contracting, operating, and billing to achieve 9-10 NPS score from all related internal and external Beach Town Travel partners and clients.
● Engage and delight the group market segment by understanding and promoting the company values and beliefs and ensuing value proposition of hosting a group in the town of Las Catalinas.
● Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
